INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION

BELLA

Athens 1986-1987, a little before the fall of State Socialism and just at the end of the Cold War. Anthi’s major priorities are human ideals and her desire to save the world. At this point, Anthi is more than able to handle the practical day-to-day problems: the family debt, the bills, raising of her teenage son and even dealing with the bureaucracy for the adoption of a girl; but she misses Christos, she misses him a lot. Christos is away on a business trip to Moscow. Greece is changing, the world is changing and with them Christos seems to be changing as well.
