Director’s bio:

Ilian Metev (1981) is a Bulgarian filmmaker who spent his childhood training to be a classical violinist in Germany. After graduating from the UK National Film and Television School in 2008, he founded Chaconna Films in 2010, with the aim to create uncompromising films. His first long documentary, Sofia's Last Ambulance, premiered at the Critics' Week in Cannes in 2012 and won the Visionary Award. Metev's second feature film, 3/4, premiered at Locarno in 2017 and won the Golden Leopard for Best Film of the Filmmakers of the Present section.
