A canary is born in captivity amongst other caged birds. A miner is experiencing the hardships of labour. A special bond of companionship and solidarity is formed between them, until a violent incident will rupture their routine and awaken them.

Director’s bio:
Marios Gampierakis and Chrysoula Korovesi have been running together the creative studio Mavra Gidia since 2014, focusing on the fields of graphic design, illustration & animation. Parallel to their practice they have been active in the performative arts by designing video projections for theatre.
