In a hot summer back in 2018, Bassem, a football maniac and a well off prestigious university student, has to finish a business in one of Cairo’s old slums that coincides with the beginning of Egypt vs Russia match in the World Cup Championship that he absolutely can’t miss. He watches the match on a sports channel at a street café there, and the craziest of nights begins.

Directors’ bio:
oha Adel was born in 1975. She graduated from the English Department in Cairo University. In 2017 she joined the Fundamentals of Directing workshop for three months with Directors Ayten Amin and Adham El Sherif. She joined an Advanced directing workshop in 2018 with Egyptian director Samir Seif. She wrote, produced and directed 2 short films that were in the official selection in many festivals and won several awards. Her 1st short film is « Into Reverse » produced in 2017 and her 2nd short is « Once Upon A Time in The Cafe « produced in 2020. She is now shooting her first long feature film « Along Came Spring ».
