ACTIVE ARCHIVE is a project initiated in 2020 by UNATC “I.L. Caragiale” and implemented by the Sorin Botoșeneanu Center for Pedagogy and Image Studies within the university. ACTIVE ARCHIVE aims to bring films from all eras to the public’s attention, grouped into distinct programs and presented as a dialogue of dual transfer. Additionally, it seeks to contribute to the digitization, restoration, and research of audiovisual archives, both within the university and those belonging to the National Film Archive – Romanian Cinematheque, other specialized institutions, or private entities
