Directors’ bio:

Andrey Koulev is a film director, artist, screenwriter and producer, born in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduated from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts with a M.A. in film directing. Since 1996 he has created a number of animated documentaries and short feature films selected and awarded in many international and national festivals. He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Fine Artists and the Union of Bulgarian Film Makers. In 2016 he was a guest professor in animation at JAI University in Changchun, China. Illustrator and designer of various books and magazines. A member of the selection committee in The International Animation Festival Hiroshima, 2012. His films participated in a series of festivals all over the World. Since 2011 he has been an art director of the World Festival of Animated Film, Varna.
